Skepta’s solo comeback is looking in two directions

The Fork and Knife connects club culture with British-Nigerian identity, according to the album’s announcement.

Skepta’s next solo album has both the dancefloor and questions of belonging in view. The Line of Best Fit describes The Fork and Knife as his first solo full-length since 2019’s Ignorance Is Bliss, built around club culture and British-Nigerian identity.

The publication’s announcement account points to sound systems, clubs and raves alongside the experience of being British and the child of Nigerian immigrants. Those are the project’s stated themes, ahead of its release.

The gap concerns solo albums, not an absence from music. The same report notes his electronic work as Mas Tiempo and his fashion label MAINS.

Apple Music lists fifteen tracks and a November 6, 2026 release. Its rights notice names Big Smoke and Epic, within Sony Music Entertainment UK.
